Marion {Doris} Norris

Mrs. Marion Doris Norris, 78 of Frederick, MD., died Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at Rockville Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late James R. Norris.

Born April 8, 1928 in Brooklyn, New York she was the daughter of the late Carl A. and Marion MacDonald Lundberg and niece of the late Margaret Kendall.

Mrs. Norris was a member of the Hebron Christian Church. In earlier years she worked in the typing pool for the U.S. Govt., in Wash., D. C. and retired as a sales rep for Structural Systems, Inc in Gaithersburg.

After retirement Doris and her husband Jim moved to Cambridge, MD, where they designed and built their home. They enjoyed over 20 years of peaceful living on the Eastern Shore. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by three children Steve Norris and wife Laurie of Parker, CO, Bruce R. Norris and wife Paula, Myrtle Beach, S.C. and Kathy Brown and husband Duff of Monrovia. Seven grandchildren Brianne and Matt Norris, Erika and Vinny Brown, Sophia, Gabriel and Hannah Norris, four brothers Carl Ronald , Charles E., Allan and Paul A. Lundberg and her sister Linda J. Lundberg. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd., Mt. Airy, MD, Friday, April 6, from 3 to 5 and 7 - 9 p.m.

Services: Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, April 7, at 10:00 a.m., with Rev. Leon Dodson officiating.
Interment Ft. Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, MD
