Marion Castle

Marion M. (Jones) Castle, 80, of Boonsboro, died on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at the Washington County Hospital.
Born on February 24, 1930, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late James W. and Genevieve V. (Bussard) Jones.
Her husband, Lewis O. Castle, preceded her in death in 1995.
Marion was a member of the Clopper-Michael American Legion Post 10 Auxulliary in Boonsboro.
She is survived by her son, Randy L. Castle of Boonsboro; three daughters, Kathleen M. Armstrong of Boonsboro, Susan A. Garrison of West Virginia and Mary L. Moore of Boonsboro; and one brother Marvin Jones of Hagerstown. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 5 step great-grandchildren and one step great-great grandchild.
Mrs. Castle was preceded in death by her son, Lewis R. Castle; two sisters, Mabel Rubeck and Leona M. Wallace; and two brothers, Robert L. and Melvin Jones.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 19, 2010 at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro. Rev. Louis L. Emerick will officiate. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Keedysville.
Friends are invited to visit beginning at 9 a.m. on Sunday, April 18, 2010 at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m.
