Marilyn Steigerwald

Mrs. Marilyn A. Steigerwald, 76, of Emmitsburg, passed from this life on Tuesday, October 16 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Tom Steigerwald. Born on January 25, 1942 in Cleveland, OH, she was the daughter of Woodrow Wilson Oliver and Marian J. Kocab.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her four children: William Steigerwald (Danny Tran) of Columbia, Patricia Steigerwald-Mullen (Ty) of Walkersville, Kathryn Russo (Mike) of Frostburg and Mary Steigerwald of Emmitsburg as well as two grandchildren: Lyndsey Mullen and Matthew Russo. She was preceded in death by a brother, James R. Oliver and a sister, Judith Ann Oliver.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 23 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 East Main Street, Thurmont. A Memorial Mass will be offered on Wednesday, October 24 at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony Shrine, 16150 St. Anthony Road, Emmitsburg, MD 21727.
