Mrs. Marilouise Metz, 89, of Frederick, MD passed away Saturday, June 1, 2013 at the Golden Living Center. She was the wife of the late Thurston Metz.
Born on October 13, 1923 in Baltimore, MD she was the daughter of the late Alma Poffinberger
Mrs. Metz loved spending time with her family and going out to eat. She looked forward to the Utica picnics every year.
She is survived by her children Karen Jones and husband Ronnie of Adamstown, Douglas Gaver of Hagerstown, Mitchell Thomas Gaver and wife Kathy of Eldersburg, MD, and Lisa Henley and husband Rex of Galveston, TX; step-children Thurston Metz, Jr. and wife Bonnie, Charlotte Norwood and husband Robert and Charles Metz and wife Shirley; 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandson.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Friday, June 7, 2013 from 10-11 AM where a memorial service will begin at 11 AM. Pastor Dr. Robert Driver-Bishop will officiate.
