Marilee Quesada

Marilee Hodsdon Quesada, 87, of Boyds, Maryland, passed from this life on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Holy Cross Hospital in Germantown, MD.

Born on May 22, 1934, in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of the late Edwin Hobart and Marian Edith (Heinrich) Hodsdon, and wife to Donald C. Quesada (1929 - 1981).

Marilee earned a BS degree in Biology at Western Maryland College and MS degree at Johns Hopkins University.  She spent her career working as a research scientist at the Naval Medical Research Center in Bethesda, Maryland.

During her life she enjoyed traveling to international destinations and spending time with her family, especially during their annual family gathering at the Maryland shore.

She is survived by a longtime companion, Charles R. Luttrell, Frederick, MD; her children, Donna L. Quesada, Philip E. Quesada, and Suzanne M. Quesada Moran and their spouses; brother, Dale E. Hodsdon; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a nephew and two nieces.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD.

Final resting place ceremonies will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 15, 2021 at Glen Haven Memorial Park in Glen Burnie, MD where she will rest alongside her parents.
