Marie Morreale

Marie T. Morreale, 72, of Keedysville, MD, formerly of New York, passed peacefully away, May 20, 2018, at home with her family. Born in New York, she was the daughter of Vincent Francis, and Marie Angelica Sambuchelli Morreale. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, William Vincent Morreale, and one sister, Joanne Marie Shay.

She attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. and New York University in NY, NY where she majored in journalism. She was the Media Editor for Scholastic Magazines in New York City, and an author specializing in biographies of rock stars for teens.

She is survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins living throughout the U.S., her earth angel, Jason Haupt, and her sister in law, Diedre Morreale and family.

There will be no funeral services. A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.
