Marie Lungociu

Marie Elena Lungociu, 79, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at her home.  She was the wife of the late Daniel Lungociu, who preceded her in death in 2019.  Born on September 21, 1941, in Canton, OH, she was the daughter of Victor Bernabei and Lena (Amicone) Bernabei.
Marie is survived by daughter, Stephanie Berkovits and her husband Lee; son, Brian Lungociu and his wife Jennifer; granddaughters Alyce and Leighton Lungociu; brothers-in-law, Dale Piper and David Sarno; four siblings-in-law: Linda Jackson and her husband David, Rodica Cipu and her husband Thomas, Cornelius Lungociu and partner Renee Mardesich, and Michael Lungociu and his wife Kimberly; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Lois Piper and Rita Sarno.
A private interment will be held at a future date at St. Luke's (Winter's) Lutheran Church Cemetery.
