Ms. Marie Connor Harps 89, of Frederick, MD passed away on Monday, October 24, 2011 at Citizens Nursing Home.
Born on March 11, 1922 in Johnstown, PA she was the daughter of the late Roscoe and Estella Connor.
She graduated from Johnstown Central High Class of 1940. She served in the US Navy Waves during WWII and she retired from NIH in Bethesda, MD.
She is survived by her son, Richard Harps and wife Rebecca of Jefferson, Maryland, her daughter, Kathy Buckley and husband Dennis of Fayetville, PA, sister, Ruby Anderson of Buena Vista, VA, six grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
There will be no viewing or service. Inurnment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Johnstown, PA.
Arrangements are by Stauffer Funeral Home, Frederick.
