Marie Edwards

Mrs. Marie F. Edwards, 82, of Mt. Airy died Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at her home. She was the loving wife of Robert (Bob) Edwards. They were married 63 years.
Born January 24, 1934 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late James and Virginia Ferrell.
Marie enjoyed reading and doing puzzles. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Karen Edwards, Cindy Mattera Edwards, Lori Corso and (Jim), and Bobbi Edwards; two grandchildren, Jimmy Corso (Carrie) and Kenny Corso (Kendall); and three great-grandchildren, AJ, Vince and Rayna Corso.
She was predeceased by two sisters and one brother.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday, February 15, 2016 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd., Mt. Airy, where a funeral service will begin at 11 a.m.
Interment will be private.
