Marian Angleberger

Marian E. Angleberger, 90, of Woodsboro, MD, passed away Friday, September 2, 2016 at her home.

Born April 15, 1926 near Libertytown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Grover M. and Ruby E. Nash. She was the last of her immediate family. In 1999, she was predeceased by her husband, C. Rudell Angleberger.

She was a homemaker and was involved in local farm organizations.

Marian is survived by her daughters, Ruby A. Darner and husband, Tom, of Rocky Ridge, MD and Sandra K. Measell and husband, Robert, and her son, Richard L. Angleberger and wife, Jeannie, all of Woodsboro; grandchildren, Barbara Daugherty, Michael Measell, Jennifer Abrecht, Jacob Angleberger and Carl Angleberger; and great-grandchildren, Nicole Visel, Angela Rogers and Brian Rogers, Derek Measell, Adam Measell and Kaitlin Measell, Connor Abrecht and Garrison Abrecht, Nathan Angleberger and Gwen Angleberger; and one great-great-granddaughter, Sydney Visel; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 7th at the funeral home with Rev. Gary Hubble officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the caregivers for Marian's care over the past several years.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
