Mrs. Maria E. Dolski, 64, of Mount Airy died on Monday October 28, 2013 at Frederick Memorial Hospital following a long illness.
Born April 25, 1949 in Contreras, New Mexico, Maria was the daughter of Molly O. Smedley of Mount Airy and the late Albert E. Smedley.
Surviving are her husband of 35 years, James; step-daughter Rebecca Job and grandson Andrew; Sisters Loura Turner and husband Neil of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Sandra Thomas and husband Robert of Clarksburg, MD. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her father Albert Smedley she was preceded in death by her brothers Dante, Warren, Paul, and Robert Smedley.
She was an avid bowler participating at local, state, and national levels; enjoyed playing pocket billiards, gardening, and had a special love for her pets, especially her cats.
The family will receive friends on Saturday November 2, 2013 at the Stauffer Funeral Homes P.A., 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd, Mount Airy, MD from 10:00am until funeral services beginning at 11:00am. Interment will be private.
