Margret Lou Kostolansky, a beloved wife, mother, daughter and friend left this world on September 30, 2023. Born on September 15, 1966, in New York, Margret brought light and joy to the lives she touched.
Throughout her career, Margret dedicated herself to creating unforgettable experiences and happy memories. For twelve years, she worked as an event planner at Holly Hills Country Club, ensuring that each occasion was filled with joy and elegance. Following that chapter of her life, Margret spent eight years as an Account Manager for Matrix, where her dedication and professionalism shone brightly.
But it was not just her professional achievements that defined Margret's life; it was the love and care she bestowed upon those nearest to her. Her warm smile accompanied her unwavering spirit as she faced life's challenges without complaint. Margret was a supportive friend whose loyalty knew no bounds. She possessed an extraordinary memory for birthdays and anniversaries, always going out of her way to make others feel cherished on their special days.
Family meant everything to Margret. She adored her husband John Kostolansky and took immense pride in being a loving mother to her daughters Kaylie Kostolansky and Larsen Kostolansky Jones. Their happiness brought Margret immeasurable joy. She treasured moments spent with them during family game nights or relaxing at the beach, especially in Aruba. The love she poured into every interaction reflected the beautiful soul she possessed.
Margret's kind heart extended beyond her immediate family; she made everyone feel special by offering them unwavering support and kindness. She had a natural gift for understanding the needs of others without ever asking for anything in return.
On October 9, 2023, a Memorial Gathering will be held at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, Maryland 21702 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. This will be a time for friends and loved ones to come together, share stories, and honor Margret's incredible spirit. The funeral service, a Celebration of Life, will take place on October 10, 2023, at St Joseph-on-Carrollton Manor Catholic Church in Frederick, Maryland at 11:00am, this event will serve as a heartfelt tribute to the remarkable life Margret lived.
In addition to leaving behind a legacy filled with beautiful memories, Margret is survived by her husband, John Kostolansky; daughters ,Kaylie Kostolansky and Larsen (Kostolansky) Jones and husband, Erik Jones; mother, Nancy Larsen, and brother, Erik Larsen. She was preceded in death by her father Louis Larsen. She is also survived by many dear friends.
Margret Lou Kostolansky brought light into the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. Her love knew no bounds, and her spirit will continue to inspire us all. May she rest in eternal peace, knowing the profound impact she had on this world and the hearts she touched along the way.
