Margie A. (Nokes) Danner, 90, of Knoxville, Md., died on Sunday, July 19, 2009 at the Washington County Hospital.
Born on June 27, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Arthur L. and Nellie (Younkins) Nokes.
Her husband, Charles E. Danner preceded her in death in 1993.
Mrs. Danner was a member of the Brownsville Church of the Brethren.
She is survived by one daughter, Sherry Hines of Hagerstown; two sons, Charles Danner of Keedysville, and Michael Danner of Zephyrhills, Fl.; 8 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Danner was preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Danner Nazelrod; three sisters, Onita Zigler, Elnore Bowers and Lenore Gordon; and one brother, James Nokes.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 24, 2009, at 11 a.m. at the Brownsville Church of the Brethren, 1911 Rohrersville Road, Brownsville, Md. Pastor Alan M. Smith will be officiating. Interment will be in the Brownsville Cemetery.
Friends are invited to visit at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, beginning at 9 a.m. on Thursday, July 23, 2009 where the family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m.
