Margaret Elizabeth Talbott

Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Talbott, 96, of Frederick, died on Friday, February 27, at her residence.

She was the wife of the late Ray Holtman Talbott who died in 1969.

Born on April 22, 1912, in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late Julia Virginia Marsden Keeney.

She was a seamstress at Buckheimer's for 25 years. Margaret was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Frederick. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards and good jokes, but most of all loved taking care of family and friends.

Surviving are a daughter, Shirley L. Remsburg and husband Clinton of Lexington, NC; 8 grandchildren: Karen Damuth and husband Michael, Mark Martin and wife Annie, Cia Lare, Robin Remsburg and husband William O'Brien, Terryle Remsburg and wife Dawn, Mignon White and husband Charlie, Dennis Talbott and wife Natalie, Michelle Rankin and husband Todd; 10 great grandchildren; a son-in-law, Vernon Martin of Frederick.

Mrs. Talbott was preceded in death by a son, Ray Holtman Talbott, Jr, a daughter, Nancy L. Martin, a sister, Evelyn Miller and a brother, William J. Shreve and a daughter-in-law Shirley Talbott Fisher.

Visitation: Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Sunday, March 1, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick.

Services: Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 2.
Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick
