Margaret Fisher

Margaret Viola "Peggy" (Brown) Fisher, 77, of Hagerstown, passed from this life on Monday, January 18, 2021 at the Christiana Hospital in Delaware.

Born on July 19, 1943, in Washington, DC, and raised in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Orville Mason and Margaret Jacqueline (Lickner) Brown. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Fisher, Sr. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Dylan.

She was a graduate of Wheaton High School. She loved her time spent at the Veteran's Administration and VFW. Her special calling was to care for people's pets. She had many special animal friends.

Peggy leaves behind two sons, Gene Fisher and wife, Charlotte, and Jeff Fisher and wife, Candi; grandchildren, Andrew Fisher and wife, Lauren, Nathan Fisher, Nicholas Fisher, Destiny Fisher, and Dustin Fisher; four great-grandchildren, Colton, Petyon, Raelynn, and Amelia; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
