Mrs. Margaret M. Stull, 86, of Frederick, MD, went to be with her Lord Wednesday, February 18, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the Late Simon M. Stull, Sr.
Born December 24, 1928 in Aitkin, MN, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lillie Mae Marsh Woolever.
Margaret was a member of Emmanuel Bible Church. For many years she taught children’s Sunday School and her Christian faith was the guiding light of her life. Her home was always open and was the center of many activities involving her large family and friends.
Margaret loved sewing and was the creative force and founder of Stull’s House of Interior Design. The Frederick Business and Professional Women’s Club named her “Woman of the Year” in 1987. She was active in 4H and among other things, served as sewing judge at the Frederick Fair and the Maryland State Fair..
She is survived by ten children : Simon Stull, Jr. and wife Edith of Denver, Pa., David Stull and Wife Jackie of Peck, MI, James Stull and wife Sue of Keymar, Mary Margaret Hollis and husband Bill of Etters, PA, Bill Stull of Myersville, Tim Stull and wife Elizabeth of Frederick, Ginny King and husband Jay of Spring City, PA, Melissa King and husband Jeff of Spring City, PA, Robby Stull of Derry, PA, and Rick Stull and wife May of Fannettsburg, Pa; twenty seven grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; sister Sylvia Hawkins of FL and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick , on Friday, February 27, 2015 from 6-8PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 28 at 10AM at the Emmanuel Bible Church, 7818 Baltimore National Pike, Frederick, with Pastor Samuel Martz Officiating.
Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
