Margaret Seymour

Margaret R. Seymour, 90, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at in Frederick.
Born on July 27, 1927, in Upper Marlboro, MD, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary (McInerney) Ryan. Her loving husband, Jack M. Seymour, preceded her in death on August 27, 1994.
She graduated from St. Cecelia Catholic High School in Washington, D.C. She was employed by the United States Census Bureau for 25 years.
Margaret attended St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church for many years until her health declined.
She is survived by her three children, Shawn D. Seymour and wife, Nancy, Sandra A. Illig and husband, Patrick, and Kelley A. Carley and husband, Jay; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Margaret was preceded in death by her son, Michael Seymour; and one sister, Mary Roesle.
The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 112 E. Second Street in Frederick. Rev. Monsignor Richard Murphy will officiate.
Burial will follow at the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Suitland, MD.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Frederick County.
