Margaret Palmer

Mrs. Margaret H. Palmer, 79, of Thurmont, MD., passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Robert W. Palmer who died in 2011.
Born on September 18, 1933 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late John Milton and Christina H. Sommer Hecker.
She enjoyed to read, and well as crafting and quilting.
Surviving are two children: Bruce Palmer and wife Michelle of Ellicott City, MD and Melanie Friedman and husband Arthur of Harpers Ferry, WV; three grandchildren Shannon Palmer, Brock Palmer and Aaron Friedman. Mrs. Palmer was preceded in death by her twin sister, Suzanne Fields and an additional sister, Phyllis Miller
A Memorial Service will be held at 4:30 PM on Friday, September 28, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main Street, Thurmont, MD with Rev Susan Beck of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Thurmont officiating.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Frederick County, PO Box 1799, Frederick, MD 21702.
