Margaret Fritz

Margaret Elizabeth Fritz, 86, of Mount Airy, Maryland, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at the home of her son, Robert Fritz, in Mount Airy, MD.

Born on November 10, 1931, in Watersville, MD, she was the daughter of the late John and Annie (Hatfield) Hartman and wife of the late Charles Fritz.

She worked as a seamstress at Mount Airy shirt factory and a prep cook at the Four Seasons Restaurant.

Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Mount Airy.

She is survived by her children, Benjamin Gue and partner, Ricky Lawson, William Gue and wife, Dana, Susan Holt and husband, Robbie Mayne, Robert Fritz and wife, Kristine, Linda Gue; grandchildren, Michael Gue and Cindy Bodmer, Michele Bowen and husband, Tom, Daniel Fritz and wife, Rebecca, Jacqueline Reese and husband, Cory, Mandy Nash and husband, Eric, Leanna Gue, Dylan Bailey, Mike Mayne and wife, Katie, Michele Mayne and Patters; great-grandchildren, Caitlan Bodmer, Colton and Dalton Gue, Taylor, Ashley, Emily Bowen, Danielle, Gunnar, Piper Fritz, Alan and Owen Reese, Cassidy, Kimberlin, Noah Gray, Skylar and Nora Mayne.

She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Gue; and brother, Harvey Hartman and sister, Claire Fleming.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, November 27, 2017, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 East Ridgeville in Mt. Airy, MD. Rev. Tom Gue will officiate. Interment will be at Locust Grove Church of the Brethren Cemetery in Mt. Airy, MD.

The family will receive friends Monday one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
