Mrs. Margaret C. Fenton, age 96, died on Friday, April 6, 2012 at Buckingham's Choice Life Care Community in Adamstown, Maryland. She was the wife of the late Richard L. Fenton.
Mrs. Fenton was born on April 4, 1916, and grew up in Riverdale, Maryland. She graduated from Towson State Teachers College and the University of Maryland. Margaret taught in elementary schools in Prince George'e County for many years. After retirement, she and her husband moved to Crestwood Village in Frederick. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and bridge. Mrs. Fenton has been a resident of Buckingham's Choice since 2000, where she continued to enjoy her favorite hobbies.
She is survived by her sons R. Wayne Fenton of Woodbine, New Jersey and Charles Fenton and wife Linda Connolly Fenton of Naples, Florida; a grandson, Thomas H. Fenton and wife Sarah Wilson Fenton of Dallas, Texas. Mrs. Fenton was also preceded in death by a daughter, Martha Fenton
Services and interment will be private.
