Margaret Mary (“Peggy”) Degnan, 82, of Frederick, MD passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2013, at Northampton Manor. She was the wife of the late Joseph Patrick Degnan, Jr. Peggy was born on October 19, 1930, in Bucks County, PA. She was the daughter of the late Hugh and Margaret Mary Mundy McGinley.
Peggy was the loving and dedicated mother of five children and seven grandchildren. She is survived by her children Richard Degnan of Adamstown, MD; Patricia Barker of Frederick, MD; Eugene Degnan and his wife Nazak of Kensington, MD; and Eileen Adams of Frederick, MD; grandchildren Richard and Kyle Degnan, Keith and Meghan Barker and Allison, Melanie and Margaret Mary Adams. She is preceded in death by her son Joseph Patrick Degnan, III.
The family will hold a private memorial service at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD on Wednesday, April 10, 2013.
