She also worked as a head waitress for Ernies Italian Kitchen and was a wedding planner. She retired and moved from Frederick, MD to Gore, VA after she was remarried to Walter Young.
As she became unable to attend the Braddock Street Church in Winchester, VA, Rev. Tony Layman and Rev. Frank Sherman gave her communion at her home and visited her with many others. She loved her church friends and pastors. Margaret had wonderful neighbors and friends who helped look after her in her time of need.
Many thanks to all her caretakers and Hospice staff and Doctors for all the kindness they showed to all of us. They have been wonderful. We could ask for no better care. She had a special care giver and friend in her last months of illness, Edward Holtsclaw, whom she loved very much. Margaret will be greatly missed by all. There is only one thing she loved more than life and that was her cats. Every stray became a part of her family.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, March 4, 2018 at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD.
