Margaret Bingham

Mrs. Margaret Jane Bingham, 91 of Knoxville, Maryland passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at her home.
Born September 29, 1920 in Weaverton, MD she was the daughter of the late Roy and Myrtle Bingham.
Margaret grew up in the Weaverton Baptist Church and became one of the original founders of the new church. She was a Life Member of the church and also taught Sunday School and VBS.
She was a first grade teacher and she was truly dedicated to her job. She retired in 1986 after 42 years of teaching in Washington County.Throughout the years she loved having her former students some up to her and remembering most of them. During the summer months Margaret loved to travel.
She is survived by loving guardian and her best friend, Iris Young. She is preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis McGaha and a brother, Horace Bingham.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 North Maple Ave., Brunswick on Sunday, July 15 from 2-4 and 7-9pm Funeral service will be held on Monday, July 16 at 1:00pm at the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, 3346 Gapland Road, Rohrersville, MD with Rev. Wendell McClellan and Rev. Clayton Clark officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church,.
Interment will be in Knoxville Reformed Cemetery.
