Margaret Baugher

Margaret Ann "Peggy" Baugher, 87, of Damascus, Maryland, passed from this life on Thursday, November 14, 2019. Peggy was a generous, godly soul whose true passion in life was helping people in need. She dedicated her time and energy to donating and giving to others, especially through her faith in the church.
Born on November 12, 1932, in Mt. Airy, MD, to the late George Wetzel and Helen (Duvall) Wetzel.
She was the wife of the late Brenton Ivy Baugher. Peggy and Brenton married on April 5, 1952 and lived in the house they built together for 54 years, until Brenton passed away November, 2006.
Tragically, Peggy was in a car accident, December 2013 leaving her debilitated. She spent her remaining life at North Hampton Manor.
She is survived by her children, Ivy-Lou Buhrman, Daniel Lee Baugher, Laurie Ann Burriss, Jo-Anne Keith, Brenda Lee Baugher and Mark Allen Baugher; grandchildren, Victoria Lee Lawson, Elizabeth "Liz" Ann Schulze-Lamb, Jesse and Josh Keith, Brenton Richard Burriss, Sr., Rachel Michelle Burriss, Tara-Rae Baugher, and Nicole Janney ; great-granddaughters, Cambra Lynne Lamb, and Aurora Monroe Winn; great-grandsons, James Richard Lawson, Gauge Warren Keith, Hayden Ashby Lamb, and Brenton Burriss, Jr.; and great-great grandaughter, Aayla Carrie Stottlemyer.
She is also survived by her loving siblings, other family members and friends. She will be missed by all.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 East Ridgeville in Mt. Airy, MD. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Mount Airy, MD. Pastor Paul Foss of Damascus Road Community Church will officiate.
