Manubhai Patel

Manubhai Mohanlal Patel, age 82, of Germantown, Maryland, passed from this life on April 16, 2022. He was born to Mohanlal Patel and Maniben Patel on June 17, 1939 in the village of Oad, Gujarat.

He is survived by his wife, Vidyaben, and children Alka (Yogesh), Hemanshu (Sonal), Parul (Rakesh), and Kamlesh (Aruna). He is also survived by his grandchildren Chintan (Sanjana), Khushbu (Aloukik), Bhavi (Romil), Krupa, Prit, Dhara, Nihal, and Shivam, as well as his great-granddaughter Sanchi.

Manubhai studied to be a teacher, and was a successful businessman. He immigrated from India to America at the age of 57, and helped settle his children and their families in the United States. Manubhai deeply cherished his family and close friends, and the respect that he earned from everyone through community service, wisdom and support. He was very loved by his family and friends, and his silent, but strong presence will be greatly missed.

A celebration of Manubhai’s life journey will take place at Stauffer Funeral Homes, 1621 Opossumtown Town Pike, Frederick, MD on Thursday, April 21st at 10:00AM.
