M. Anne (Mitchell) Bright

M. Anne (Mitchell) Bright, 73, of Boonsboro, Maryland, passed from this life on Thursday, January 3, 2013, at the Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown.
Born on August 31, 1939, in Highland County, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Vadin and Cleda Mitchell. Her husband, Jack D. Bright, preceded her in death in 1987.
Anne was a wonderful mother and friend, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her four children, Linda D. and husband Tommy Miller, of Knoxville, Maryland, Debbie M. and husband George Baugher of Keedysville, Maryland, Donna K. VanHorn and husband Monty of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, and J. Samuel Bright and wife Liz of Keedysville; one brother, Manley Mitchell of Churchville, Virginia; and eight grandchildren, Nate, Matt, Michelle, Austin, Tim, Melissa, Dylan, and Victoria. She is also survived by one great granddaughter, Jasmine.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Anne was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Koiner; a brother, Obie Mitchell; and one grandson, Joshua Baugher.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 7, 2013 at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro. Rev. R. Thomas Fralin, Jr. will officiate. Final resting place ceremonies will follow at the Brownsville Heights Cemetery in Brownsville, Maryland.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
