Khloey Madison Griffin of Fort Knox, Kentucky, passed away on August 8, 2018. She was the daughter of Terrence and Christie Griffin. She is survived by her father Terrence, her two brothers, Terrence II and Jaylen, and her sister Kennedy.
Major Christie Elaine Griffin, 46, formerly of Frederick, Maryland, passed away on August 8, 2018 in Fort Knox, Kentucky. Born on December 25, 1971, she was the daughter of Clement Banner and the late Carolyn Pearson Banner. Christie was stationed at Fort Knox and had been serving in the United States Army for over 24 years at the time of her death.
Christie was a loving wife, mother, daughter and friend to many. She enjoyed spending time with family, traveling and helping others and watching reruns of Murder She Wrote.
She leaves behind, her father Clement Banner and “Team Griff” which consists of her husband Terrence Griffin, sons Terrence II and Jaylen, and daughter Kennedy. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Christie was preceded in death by her mother Carolyn Pearson Banner, brother Kenneth Wayne Banner, and daughter Khloey Madison Griffin.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, August 17, 2018 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A. 1100 North Maple Avenue, Brunswick, MD 21716.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Community, 7321 Burkittsville Road, Middletown, MD 21769. Rev. Msgr. Robert J. Jaskot will celebrate.
Interment will follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church cemetery, 4231 Catholic Church Road in Petersville, MD.
