Miss Mackenzie Danielle Freeze, 20, of Thurmont, MD., passed away.
Born June 8, 1992 in Gettysburg, PA, she was the daughter of Susanne Freeze of Thurmont and Daniel Woodby and his wife Rebecca of New Market.
Mackenzie was a 2010 graduate of Cactoctin High School. She grew up working in the family business (Cozy Restaurant). Mackenzie loved photography, dancing, singing and the outdoors. She was a member at Apples United Church of Christ in Thurmont.
In addition to her parents , she is survived by her brothers Jorden Michael Hahn and Jameson Ross Hahn of Thurmont and step siblings Allie and Hayden Ammenheuser, maternal grandfather Gerald Freeze and wife Rebecca of Thurmont, paternal grandfather Charlie Woodby of TN, aunts and uncles Gerald Freeze,II and wife Aileen, Jenny Freeze and cousins Sean, Seth and Lindsey Chilson, David Quill and wife Jessica, John Quill and wife Sarah, Stephanie and Brian Moss, James Woodby, Lamesha Hurley and Patricia Woodby. Many additional cousins also survive. Mackenzie will also be remembered by her special friends Savannah Hamrick, Rachael Stouter and Kelly Olthof. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Mary Barbara Weddle Freeze and her paternal grandmother Joan Pearsey.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main St., Thurmont on Wednesday, April 17, from 2-4 and 7-9pm, where services will be held Thursday, April 18, at 11:00 am with Rev. Jan Ports and Rev. Laura Robeson officiating.
Interment will be private.
