Mr. Mack H. Smith, 82, Retired Montgomery County Police Officer of Mt. Airy died on Monday July 16, 2012 at his home. He was the husband of Ruth K. Smith.
Born on November 3, 1929 in Oak Hill, WV. He was the son of the late Roby Grant and Gola Mclain Smith.
He was the father of Mark A. Smith of Germantown and Teresa Black and husband Roger of Mt. Airy. Brother of Barbara Gail of Oak Hill, WV.
Visitation will be held on Thursday July 19,2012 at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 East Ridgeville Blvd, Mt. Airy, MD, from 6-9pm. Funeral Services will be held on Friday July 20, at the Lakewood Church of God, 22820 Frederick Road, Clarksburg, MD, 20872 where the family will receive friends from 10:00am until time of Funeral Services beginning at 11:00am. Pastor Randy Dennis will officiate. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Mt. Airy.
In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions should be made to the above named church in his memory.
