Lydia K. Armstrong

Lydia K. Armstrong, 49 of Silver Spring, MD died on Monday, March 26, 2007 at Georgetown University Hospital after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
Born on January 3, 1958 in New Haven, CT, she was the beloved daughter of Dorinne Armstrong of Frederick and the late Richard A. Armstrong, Sr. Lydia was a graduate of Lawrence University in Appleton, WI. Most recently, she was employed as the Senior Insurance Officer at World Bank following a career of nearly twenty years with Morgan Chase Bank in New York City.
Besides her mother, she is survived by her brother, Richard and sister-in-law, Sharon of Washington, DC; her two aunts, Elaine Snyder of Woodbridge, CT and Marguerite Witkop of Bartlett, NH; an uncle and aunt, Peter and Cathy Armstrong of Milan, MI, and devoted dog, Eddie.

Services: A memorial service celebrating Lydia's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 28th, 2007 at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service time at the funeral home.
