Luther Bill Gladhill
August 8, 1934 — April 21, 2007
Mr. Luther Bill Gladhill, 72 of Thurmont died Saturday, April 21, 2007 at Northampton Manor Health Care. He was the husband of the late Joan Bowles Gladhill.
Born in Frederick, Md on August 8, 1934, he was the son of the late Elizabeth (Snoots) and Luther Gladhill. Bill was retired from the Water Plant in Frederick where he was the operator.
He was a member of the Lutheran faith. Bill enjoyed going to the horse races at the Cracked Claw with his friend Mazie Tregoning.
He is survived by his two brothers, Ray Dick Gladhill and wife Dorothy, and Donald Gladhill and wife Carol all of Thurmont; and several nieces and nephews.
Bill was also preceded in death by a brother, Richard Gladhill.
Visitation: The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 24 from 7 until 9 PM at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, Md.
Services: Services will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at 10:00 AM at the Stauffer Funeral Home Chapel, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, Md.,with Rev. Richard P. Rutkauskas, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
