Mrs. Lucy Ann (Brown) George, 95, of Washington GA, recently of Clarksburg, MD died on Thursday, September 3, 2009 at Northampton Manor Nursing Center.
She was the wife of the late William Hardeman George, Sr.
Born on December 19th, 1913 in Greensboro, Ga. She was a daughter of the late James L. Brown, Jr. And Clara S. ( Wright ) Brown.
Mrs. George devoted her life to her family and home. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Georgia Society of Colonial Dames, the Garden Club of Washington, GA, and the Pilot Club International Foundation.
Surviving are a son William H. George, Jr. And wife Helen of Richmond, VA, a daughter Ann Williamson and husband George of Frederick, 8 grandchildren; 11 Great-grandchildren and 3 Great-great grandchildren.
Services: Memorial Service will be held at Smyrna United Methodist Church, Washington, GA on Wednesday, September 16th at 11:00
