Lucinda Sibbald Hereth (Grannie) died peacefully at home on July 31, 2014. For the past few years she was lovingly cared for by her eldest daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Bill Williams. Sibbald was predeceased by her husband, Walter A. Hereth, her eldest son, Walter (Hank) Hereth, and a grandson, Michael David Miller.
She was loved by her nine children and their spouses, Ann and Bill Williams, Ellen and Stanley Miller Jr., Wilbur C. Hereth, Mary Hereth-Mulloy, all of Woodbine. MD, Meg and Gary Chaillou of Landenberg, PA, Anita Moss of Randolph, NY, Edward and Cindi Hereth of Mt. Airy, MD and CJ and Deirdre Hereth of Virginia Beach, VA, 27 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren, one Great Great Grandson, her extended family and all who met her. She always found the good in people and made you feel like you were such a "treasure" in her life.
A Memorial Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. Michael's Catholic Church, St Michael's Road. Mt. Airy, MD. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Smile Train at smiletrain.org/donatenow or the Dove House, Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Ave, Westminster, MD 21157 .
