Mrs. Louise C. Edwards, 91, of Frederick, died peacefully Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Edenton Retirement Community. She was the wife of the late Joseph Jackson Edwards.
Born November 3, 1921 in Danville, VA., she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Dora Belle Dickerson Cash.
In younger years, Mrs. Edwards worked as a clerk for the Social Security Administration.
She is survived by her son, Shannon Edwards and wife, Katherine, of Frederick; and three grandsons, Collin Patrick Edwards, Michael Joseph Edwards, and Ryan John Edwards.
Arrangements are being handled by Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A. of Frederick, and Stauffer Crematory, Inc. There will be no visitation or services at the funeral home.
An inurnment service will be scheduled for a later date at Arlington National Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.
