Mrs. Louise S. Duvall 84, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at the Nightingale House in Darnestown, Maryland. She was the wife of the late John P.M. Duvall.
Born December 29, 1929 in New York she was the daughter of the late John and Stella Steinhauer.
Louise was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church in Mt. Airy where she enjoyed singing in the choir.
She loved theater, painting, traveling and especially spending time with her family.
She is survived by three daughters, Sandie Salsbery and husband Donald of Leland, NC, Lisa Boling of Baltimore, MD, and Pam Hauck and husband Scott of North Potomac, MD, six grandchildren, Justin, Shannon, Nicole, Michael, Christopher and Ashley, two great grandchildren, Cameron and Madyson.
She was preceded in death by her dear friend, William “Bill”Kahlert.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 13th at 11:00AM at the Calvary United Methodist Church, 403 S. Main Street, Mt. Airy with Rev. Angela Flanagan officiating. A private interment will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Stroke Foundation.
