Louise Mae Cline, 95, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life into eternal life with her Lord Jesus on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at her home. She was the loving wife of the late Milo “Chip” Cline.
Born on October 10, 1922 on a farm near Ceresville, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late John Gilmer and Mae Garst. Louise and her husband worked their farm in Frederick for many years. Louise was a loving homemaker, enjoying moments spent with her family and her many friends. She was a strong, faithful Christian woman, serving the Lord throughout her entire life. She was a life member of the Frederick Church of the Brethren and enjoyed reading, crocheting, music and word searches.
Louise is survived by her children, Robert Joseph Cline and wife Susan, Penny Gayle Storms and husband Lance; daughter-in-law, Betty Jane Cline; her siblings, C. Richard Garst, Denton K. Garst, Donald L. Garst and Virginia M. Coblentz; twelve grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sons, Dennis Wayne Cline, Ronald David Cline and wife Ruth and one brother, John H. Garst.
The family will receive friends from 4-7pm on Monday, August 13, 2018 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A., 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21701. The funeral service will be held at 10am on Tuesday, August 14 at the Frederick Church of the Brethren, 201 Fairview Avenue, Frederick, MD 21701. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Frederick County, PO 1799, Frederick, MD 21702 or to the Frederick Church of the Brethren.
