Louella F Eyler , 92, of Harpers Ferry, WV, passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, May 22, 2018. Louella was born in Lovettsville, VA on March 27, 1926, in Lovettsville, VA, the daughter of Fenton Winfield Greene and Margaret Helena Fry Greene. She was a graduate of Lovettsville High School and the Winchester School of Business. Upon graduation from business school, she was employed in Washington, DC by the United States Department of Justice. Locally, she was employed by M.J. Grove Lime Company, Western Maryland Trust Company and Monocacy Valley Realty.
Louella is survived by her husband of over 71 years, Mr. Albert L. Eyler, Jr. Also surviving are her daughters: Donna E. Crum and husband Harry and Connie E. Barnes, all of Fairfield, PA; three grandchildren: Kara L. Crum Baker and husband Rob, Brooke E. Cramer Stine and husband Matt, Keith C. Crum and wife Becky; six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, including her special nephew, Richard T. Greene of Lovettsville, VA.
In addition to her parents, Louella was preceded in death by twin daughters, Beverly Ann and Karen Jane Eyler; her only son, Paul Isaac Eyler and her brother, Mr. James W. Greene.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 29 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 in the chapel of the funeral Home, Rev. Tim May officiating. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
