Lotus Gadd, Sr.

Lotus D. Gadd, Sr., 80, of Garner, North Carolina, formerly of Frederick, Maryland passed from this life on Friday, December 21, 2018 at The Laurels of Forest Glenn in Garner, NC. due to complications of dementia. He was the beloved husband of the late Margaret M. Gadd.
Born on July 31, 1938, in Talcott, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Noah L. and Beatrice (Gore) Gadd.
Mr. Gadd served in the United States Army. Most of his life he was employed in the concrete industry.
He is survived by sons, Lotus D. (Serena) Gadd, Jr. of Morrisville, NC and Ronnie E.Gadd (fiancee, Annette Nucilli) of Fairmont, WV; grandchildren, Jennifer (Brendan) Butler, Nicole (Keith) Nance, Shannon, Joshua, Savannah, Michael and Matthew Gadd; great-grandchildren, Jeremy Crouch, Colin and Ciara Butler; and two sisters.
Mr. Gadd was preceded in death by 15 siblings.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2018, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD. Rev. Tim May will officiate. Interment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
