Mrs. Lois Jean Wisner, 81, of Walkersville died Friday, October 11, 2013 at Glade Valley Nursing Center. She was the wife of the late Merhl W. Wisner, Jr., who predeceased her August 20, 2011.
Born September 5, 1932 in Graceham, she was the daughter of the late James and Grace Bentz.
In earlier years, Mrs. Wisner was an assistant cashier with Woodsboro Bank for 30 years. She later enjoyed crossword puzzles, tending to her flower beds, and watching game shows, tennis and soap operas on t.v.
Surviving are her son, Larry Wisner and wife, Wanda Sue, of Walkersville; two grandchildren, Jessica Wisner Linton and husband, JP, and Jason A. Wisner; two great-grandchildren, JR and Jackson Linton; a sister-in-law, Mary Bentz of Walkersville; and brother-in-law, Robert Wisner of Frederick.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Warren Bentz, and Frederick Bentz and his wife, Dottie.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A., 40 Fulton Ave., Walkersville, where services will begin at 11. Officiating will be the Rev. Tim May.
Interment will follow at Glade Cemetery.
