Lois Ross

Lois Mae (Page) Ross, 88, of Frederick, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Country Meadows Assistant Living. She was surrounded with much love and care.
Born on March 11, 1932, in Queens, New York, she was the daughter of the late William Edward Page and Lillian Blenkinsop Rylander. Her husband of 49 years, Frank John Ross, Sr., preceded her in death in 2000.
Lois worked as a bank teller in New York and held bookkeeping positions while living on Long Island, Maryland and New Jersey.  At one time she was the bookkeeper at the Peter Pan Inn in Urbana, Maryland.
She was passionate about bingo, card playing (Kings in the Corner), casinos (especially free gifts) and her grand pups. She loved family gatherings and being social.  Her absence will surely be missed.
Surviving are her daughter, Debra White and husband, John, of Germantown, MD, son, Frank J. Ross, Jr. and wife, Bonnie, of Howell, NJ.  She was blessed with six grandchildren, Jennifer Stark, Jennie Singleton, Jonathan Carucci, Frank J. Ross III, Christopher Ross, and Jennifer Zimmerman; and proud of her nine great-grandchildren.   Additionally, she is survived by her brother, Robert Rylander and wife, Irene, of Canon City, CO.
