Lois Cosner
June 14, 1943 — August 3, 2018
Lois Snyder Cosner born on June 14, 1943 in Shanksville, Pa., the daughter of Merle and Elnora Snyder, passed away on August 3. She finally won her 40 year battle with breast and ovarian cancer. She now has a new body and is together with her savior, Jesus Christ for all eternity.
She graduated from Shanksville Stonycreek Joint Schools in 1961 and Allegheny General Hospital School of Nursing in 1964. She worked 37 years, 7 months, and 17 days for Kaiser Permanente in San Diego, Ca.
She leaves behind her son, Chance McCoole, and four beautiful granddaughters, Kaelyn, Madisyn, Brooklyn, and Paightyn McCoole.
She is survived by her sisters, Glenda Uithoven, Mary Lou Berkebile, and Martha Flick. She was predeceased by brothers Harold Kenneth, Earl Jay, Robert Merle and sister Frances Frazier.
Memorial services will be held at South End Baptist Church, 506 Carrollton Drive, Frederick, Md. 21701 on Saturday, August 11 at 11:00 AM and at Unity United Church of Christ, 2074 Huckleberry Highway, Berlin, Pa. 15530 on Sunday, August 12 at 3:00 PM. Inurnment will be in Glade Cemetery, Berlin, PA.
