Lloyd Wiegand

Lloyd Wiegand, 88, of Frederick, Maryland, formerly of Leesburg, Florida for 24 years,  passed from this life on Friday, April 14, 2017.
Born on December 4, 1928, in  Utica, New York,  he was the son of Martha Wiegand.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Ann Marie Wiegand.
He served as an airplane mechanic in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.
Lloyd was employed by the State of New York as a facilities engineer until his retirement.
He enjoyed carpentry, playing cards, bowling, trips to the casino and spending time in his garden.
He is survived by his son, David and his wife Ann; and daughter, Diane.
The family will receive friends from  12:00-1:30 p.m., with a funeral service immediately following at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, April. 21, 2017 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, Maryland 21702. Rev. Tim May will officiate.
Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in  Frederick, MD.
