Linda Irene Fogle
June 18, 1947 — June 7, 2009
Mrs. Linda Irene Fogle, 61 of Thurmont, passed away on Sunday, June 7th at her home. She was the wife of Joseph R. Fogle whom she married on December 1, 1995.
Born in Frederick, MD on June 18, 1947, she was the daughter of Herman Pinkney Naill of Mt. Airy and the late Margaret Elizabeth (Shane) Naill.
A homemaker, Linda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her.
Besides her husband and father, she is survived by four children; James S. Roderick, Jr., Letitia Wachter and husband Darren, Shalon R. Roderick and fiance Keith Mullens all of Thurmont, and Megan S. Roderick and fiance Charles DeGrange, Jr. of Smithsburg; five grandchildren, Sabrina, Mary, Chloe, Breigh, and Emma.
Visitation: The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main Street, Thurmont, MD.
Services: Grave side services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 11th, at the Locust Grove Church of the Brethren Cemetery, 13356 Glissans Mill Road, Mt. Airy, MD with Pastor Wayne A. Hall officiating. Pallbearers will be: Keith Mullens, Darren Wachter, Charles DeGrange, James Roderick, Jr., Terry Adkins, and Robert Stouffer, III.
Flowers are welcomed and contributions may be made to the family.
