Linda Ann Haupt

Linda Ann Haupt, born on November 13, 1947, in Washington County, Maryland, peacefully passed away surrounded by family on May 5, 2024. 

She was the cherished daughter of Maurice Clifford Landers and Helen Lee Hawvermole, and sister to Joe David Diehl.
In 1965, Linda entered into a lifelong partnership with her high school sweetheart, Ragan Lee Haupt, sharing 59 years of a remarkable marriage. Together, they weathered life's challenges and celebrated its joys, guided by their unwavering faith as devoted Christians.

After graduating from Hancock Senior High School in 1965, Linda embarked on a fulfilling career with Mack Truck, where she served as a program computer operator and union representative for 31 years. Outside of work, Linda spent time with her family finding great joy as a mother, actively supporting her three sons, Clifford L. Haupt, Shawn R. Haupt, and Jason E. Haupt, in their pursuits. She was a dedicated sports mom, attending numerous baseball games and immersing herself in various crafts, notably wreath making. Linda found joy by the water's edge, she was a great water skier and an expert seashell and sand dollar finder on the shores of Chincoteague Island. In her later years she enjoyed riding up and down the Ocean City boardwalk on a surrey with her husband and dog Angel.

Linda leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, survived by her three sons; Clifford L. Haupt, Shawn R. Haupt and wife Kelly L. Haupt, Jason E. Haupt and wife Tahnee B. Haupt. 
Linda had 6 grandchildren which include Brandon R. Haupt and partner Becca L. Campbell, Bethany A. Haupt, Dalton S. Haupt, Morgan M. Haupt,  Madison D. Haupt and Maura M. Haupt; and great grandchildren, Brooklyn P. Campbell, Easton R. Haupt, and Savannah G. Haupt. 
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate caregivers of Washington County Hospice for their unwavering support during Linda's final days.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to Linda's beloved organization, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, in honor of her compassionate spirit and unwavering generosity. Linda's memory will forever be cherished by those whose lives she touched with her kindness, warmth, and unwavering faith.
