Linda Ammerman

Mrs. Linda Kathryn Ammerman, 85, of Ocean Pines, died Friday, October 9, 2015 at Atlantic General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Earl A. Ammerman, who predeceased her on September 15, 1999.
Born June 14, 1930 in Blairs Mills, PA, she was the daughter of the late Bryan and Verneta Hockenbery.
Linda worked for many years in customer service.
She is survived by her children, Judie Kisly, Cindy Rollins and husband, Austin, and Mark Ammerman and wife, Janet; 7 grandchildren, Tamra King and husband, Stephen, Ami Curtis, Angela Redding, David Stevens, Jordan Ammerman and fiancé, Devin Smith, Beth Cornish, and Maximillian Ammerman; 10 great-grandchildren, Chelsea Nieves and husband, Victor, Colin Curtis, Madelynn King, Christian Stevens, Katelynn King, Ethan Redding, Jackson Stevens, Brice King, Cameron King, and Abigail Cornish; a great-great grandchild, Noah Nieves; two brothers, Roland Hockenbery and Paul Hockenbery; and many nieces and nephews.
Linda was predeceased by a son-in-law, Edward Kisly; and a brother, Warren Hockenbery
Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 15 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
