Lincoln James Schleigh was born on October 18th, 2015, at 7:32 p.m. to his devoted parents, Katie and Dustin Schleigh, at Meritus Hospital in Hagerstown. He weighed 1 pound, 9 ounces and was 12 and a half inches long. He had beautiful downy brown hair and perfect fingers and toes.
Lincoln's family was blessed to hold and cuddle Lincoln after he went to his heavenly home. Lincoln experienced holding hands with his mommy and daddy, hugs and kisses from his family, listening to his mommy and daddy's whispers, and being told "I love you" an uncountable amount of times.
Lincoln is deeply loved by his mommy and daddy, big brother Landon, his maternal grandparents Dottie and James Gonder, paternal grandparents Pamela and Scott Breichner, great grandparents Glenda and Phillip Breichner, adoring aunts and uncles, his cousins and many others. Lincoln will always remain his parent's precious baby and Landon's little brother, and they will hold him deep in their hearts until they meet again in heaven.
A memorial service will be held to offer love and support for Lincoln's family and honor such a beautiful gift from God. It will be held on Thursday, October 22nd at 7:00 p.m. at Mt. Lena United Methodist Church in Boonsboro, Maryland. Officiating will be Rev. Ronald R. Kurtz.
It's not goodbye dear baby Lincoln, Heaven is our final home and we will see you there.
Upon the family's wishes, memorial contributions may be directed to a charity of your choosing.
