Mrs. Lina Carlton Stann, 84, of Frederick died on Sunday July 25, 2010 at her home. She was the wife of the late John F. Stann.
Born on October 10, 1925 in Virginia she was the daughter of the late William and Courtney Lucy Walker.
She loved watching the Baltimore Orioles and spending time with her bird Jackie.
She is survived by her son John Stann Jr. and his wife Mary of Myersville. Five grandchildren; John F. Stann III and wife Dawn of Okinawa, William T. Stann and wife Amie of Boonsboro, Joseph H. Stann and wife Janet of Middletown and Thomas H. Stann Jr., and wife Cara of Efland, NC. One sister Doris M. Aigner of Mechanicsville, VA. She was also the adopted daughter of the late Dr. Howard H. and Lina C. Howlett. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son Thomas Howard Stann, granddaughter Marilyn M. Stann, sister Catherine A. Leonard and brother W. Charles Walker.
Graveside services and interment will be held at 10:00am on Thursday July 29, at Mt.OlivetCemetery, Frederick. The Reverend Lloyd Fuss will officiate. Pallbearers will be her family.
