Mrs. Lilly Louise Beall, 79, of Thurmont, MD, passed away Monday, March 31, 2014 at Citizens Nursing and Rehab Center. She was the wife of the late Charles I. Beall.
Born May 3, 1934 in Thurmont, she was the daughter of the late John J., Jr. and Grace M. Morningstar Carbaugh.
Mrs. Beall enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and also playing bingo and drinking Diet Coke.
She is survived by her children Scott Beall wife Rachel of Thurmont, Chester Kerns wife Patty of Rocky Ridge, Sandy Woodruff husband Jeff of Myersville, Barbara Thompson of Hagerstown, and Lorry Buckmeir husband Todd of Woodsboro, ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers Jim, Jake and William Carbaugh and sisters Mary, Julie and Boots.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main Street, Thurmont, Thursday, April 3, from 12:00 Noon until service time at 2:00 pm.
Rev. Sallie Joyner Giffin and Rev. Dave Sweeney will officiate.
Interment Mt. Prospect Cemetery in Lewistown.
