Mrs. Lillie V.{Johnson}
yers, 77, of Mount Airy, died on Monday, October 8, 2007 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Franklin Myers.

Born on April 5, 1930 in Sykesville, MD she was a daughter of the late James and Lucille {Anderson} Johnson.

Mrs. Myers was a long time member of Simpson United Methodist Church, she served as financial secretary, was past president of the United Methodist Women, and a member of the P.P.R. Committee.

She was employed as a Nursing Assistant, retiring from the State of MD after many years of service. Mrs. Myers was devoted to her family and friends, she enjoyed cooking, reading and traveling.

Surviving are 1 daughter, Jeroline A. Williams and husband William L., of Mount Airy, 6 grandchildren; Trixie Gregory, Christina Thompson and husband William, Dennis, David and
Karen Williams, Demitra McCready.11 greatgrandchild- ren, 1 great-greatgrandchild, 2 brothers; Eugene and Kenneth Johnson, 4 sisters; Carol Johnson, Helen Reese, Mary Whittaker, Dorothy Lee, 2 special nieces; Shirley Marcelle and Priscilla Scott, of New York, a brother-in-law Delano Myers and his wife Clara.

She was preceded in death by 4 sisters and 3 brothers.

Services: Services will be held on Thursday, October 11th, at 12:00 noon in Simpson U.M. Church,16901 Hardy Rd., Poplar Springs, with Pastor Gregory J. McNeil and Rev. Elaine Sykes officiating. Family will receive friends at church from 10:30 AM until 12:00 Noon.. Interment in the church cemetery
