Lillian Wentz

Lillian Gertrude Wentz was born August 22, 1925 to Mabel and Urban Zink and was raised in Baltimore MD. Lillian was preceded in death by her loving son Joseph Henry Wentz, Jr.; daughter-in-law Joyce Ann Wentz (nee Dorsey) and grandson Joseph Allen Wentz.

Lillian is survived by her grandchildren Kimberly Ann Barrett, Deborah Ann Schlichting and grandson in-law Dana Montague Schlichting; and great grandchildren Christopher and Shawn Barrett, and Connor and Tess Schlichting.

After high school she worked for Western Electric in Baltimore and continued until her retirement in the early 1980’s. She was a member of the 90+ Pioneers Club and treasured the years of service and many lifelong friends made during those years.

Later in retirement, Lillian moved to Westminster, MD with her son and family. In 2011, Lillian moved to Frederick, MD to be near her granddaughter and resided at Country Meadows Retirement Community. Lillian loved playing cards, bingo and the occasional casino trip. She treasured all the lovely friends she made while residing there.
